Amritpal has rejected the Indian Constitution?
The siege of Amritpal Singh has been intensified. The Union Home Ministry has asked the BSF and SSB heads to remain alert in the areas adjoining Pakistan. Actually there is a possibility that Waris Punjab De chief Amritpal Singh Sandhu (Waris Punjab De chief Amritpal Singh Sandhu) may cross the border. An alert has been issued in Punjab on Amritpal Singh. Self-styled fundamentalist Sikh preacher and Waris Punjab De chief Amritpal Singh is absconding and efforts are on to arrest him. According to the central intelligence agencies, Amritpal was preparing fidayeen attackers in the name of de-addiction centers. He was preparing terrorists. Everything was happening at the behest of ISI. Illegal weapons were being procured from Pakistan and stored in these centres. Through which he was preparing the Anandpur Khalsa Force (AKF). Everything was being done in the name of Amrit Sanchar.
Amritpal’s link with Pakistani intelligence agency ISI has come to the fore. There is also input of Amritpal being the handler of the banned Khalistani organization Babbar Khalsa International (BKI). BKI, formed in 1980, is declared a terrorist organization in India and England. It is most active in Canada, Germany and England. Most of the members of BKI have taken refuge in Pakistan. They are working closely with ISI. On this basis, DIG Swapan Sharma of Jalandhar Range of Punjab Police has said that Amritpal’s links are being linked to ISI. It is learned that Amritpal was in Dubai for 10 years. Returned to Punjab in 2022 only after becoming the handler of BKI.
Amritpal Singh started giving provocative speeches to become a different identity among the people. He told the Sikhs not to trust the law of the land. He insists on taking instructions from the Guru. In the name of the Guru, he gives his own viewpoints in the form of Hukamnama to be followed by the Sikh Sangat which are generally not in consonance with the law of the land. His supporters vandalized two gurdwaras to observe the tradition of keeping some furniture for the elderly and disabled to sit. He considers himself superior to Sri Guru Granth Sahib. Rejecting the Indian constitution, Amritpal said, India may have declared itself a republic by adopting the Indian constitution, but the said constitution is nothing but a way to perpetuate the slavery of the Sikhs. He advocated a separate constitution for the Sikhs. ‘Ever since the Constitution of India came into force, the rights of the Sikhs were killed. We will implement our constitution’. When he took charge of the ‘Waris Punjab De’ chief, the event took place in Bhindranwale’s native village Rode.
Amritpal Singh had started disrespecting the Gurudwaras and the Akal Takht (the highest temporal seat). He threatened the Jathedar Akal Takht about the committee formed against him to take the Guru Granth Sahib to the dharna site. He himself started giving hukamnama without following Sikh dignity. He opposed the ongoing Sikh tradition regarding the Panj Pyaras. He began to consider himself the sole protector of Sikhism. Without taking the committee related to the Gurdwara in the loop, he started destroying the property of the Gurdwaras. It has been revealed in the report that Avtar Singh (a close associate of Khalistani terrorist Jagtar Singh Tara) is said to be the main handler and brain of Amritpal Singh. Jagtar Singh is close to Paramjit Singh Pamma, associated with Babbar Khalsa International. He knows how to mislead Sikh youth by conducting theoretical fundamentalist training classes for them. He is using Amritpal Singh to destabilize Punjab. Members of this group have tried to make an Improvised Explosive Device ‘IED’ by performing live in Birmingham and Glasgow. Amritpal also has links with Lakhbir Singh Rode (Head, International Sikh Youth Federation). Rode is also accused of smuggling arms and conspiring to attack prominent leaders in the country.
The report submitted to the Center states that Amritpal attacked the Ajnala police station on February 23 to get his accomplice Lovepreet Singh Toofan out of police custody under the guise of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. At that time there were allegations against the Punjab Police for not taking action. However, the police handled the matter very tactfully. Taking care of the dignity of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, the police prevented the situation from worsening further. Amritpal’s act of using Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji for personal gains was condemned by the entire Sikh community. An inquiry was ordered into the disrespect of Guru Sahib. After this, Amritpal threatened that an incident like Ajnala could happen in the future as well. Amritpal Singh is an NRI, who was a truck driver in Dubai. There he came in contact with ISI. He has been told to mobilize innocent Sikh youth in the name of religion. ISI will spend money for this.
