यूक्रेन और रूस की जंग के बीच कई पंजाब-हिमाचल के नौजवान वहां फंसे हैं। हालांकि कुछ नौजवान वहां से लौट चुके हैं लेकिन कुछ के वहां फंसे होने के कारण परिजन चिंतित हैं। रूस ने यूक्रेन के हवाई अड्डों पर कब्जा कर लिया है। इस कारण देश लौटने वाले नौजवान नहीं लौट सकते।
जिसके कारण संगरूर, मानसा , नाभा, पटियाला और अन्य शहरों के पंजाबी नौजवान वहां फंसे हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि वहां के दूतावास ने एक बार वहां पहुंचने वाले छात्रों के फार्म भरे हैं, अब वापस भेजने का इंतजाम किया जा रहा है लेकिन फिलहाल सभी फ्लाइटें रद्द हो गई हैं।
जंग और तनाव के माहौल में जो फ्लाइट की टिकट 30 से 35 हजार रुपये थी, वह 80 हजार से एक लाख रुपये तक पहुंच चुकी है और कई नौजवानों के पास टिकट का प्रबंध नहीं है। उन्होंने केंद्र व राज्य सरकार से दखल देने की मांग की। मानसा के रोहताश कुमार की बेटी मुस्कान बुधवार को मानसा लौटी हैं। उनका कहना है कि वहां माहौल हर दिन खराब हो रहे हैं। इस कारण उन्होंने अपनी पढ़ाई छोड़कर यहां लौटना ही बेहतर समझा।
गढ़शंकर के गांव धमाई के जसविंदर सिंह ने बताया कि उनका बेटा तरनवीर सिंह पांच साल पहले उच्च शिक्षा प्राप्त करने यूक्रेन गया था और अंतिम सेमेस्टर की परीक्षा के बाद घर लौटने की तैयारी कर रहा था लेकिन उससे पहले ही यूक्रेन पर हमला होने से बेटा वहां फंस गया है। छात्रों के परिजन ने फंसे छात्रों को जल्द यूक्रेन से सुरक्षित लाने की अपील की।
हिमाचल के मुख्यमंत्री जयराम ठाकुर ने सदन में कहा कि यूक्रेन में फंसे हिमाचल के हर विद्यार्थी को सुरक्षित वापस लाने के प्रयास जारी हैं। केंद्र सरकार भी इस मामले को लेकर गंभीर है। हिमाचल के कुल कितने विद्यार्थी यूक्रेन में फंसे है, इसका आंकड़ा जुटाया जा रहा है। हेल्पलाइन नंबर 1100 पर अभी तक 60 ने पंजीकरण करवाया है। नेता प्रतिपक्ष मुकेश अग्निहोत्री ने प्रश्नकाल से पहले सदन में यह मामला उठाया।
